Marcus Truelove 

Guitar, bass, vocals, live production and recording 

​Playing guitar professionally for over 30 years focusing on Rock, Country, Blues Funk, Pop, R&B and Jazz.  Marcus has played on the Grand Ole Opry twice and is retired from the U.S. Army, as a member of the United States Army Band (Pershing’s Own).  Has served as Director, Musical Director, Technical Director, Stage Manager, Live Performance and Recording Engineer and Recording musician over the past 30 years.  The two recordings he is known best for are the Be All You Can Be (radio commercial) and an XM radio commercial with Jon Anderson from the band Yes.  Marcus has a Bachelors Degree in Music Production from George Mason University and a Masters Degree in Education from Liberty University. 

Currently Marcus performs with multiple bands in the DC Area and writes, records and produces songs for himself and other song writers throughout the United States including Gifford Jones (Music Giff), Melissa Quit Fox, Todd Brooks and Pour Decisions, The TowerHouse Band, and subbing with local bands when their guitarist is unavailable.  Marcus has worked with Stevie Wonder, Michael Jackson, Kenny Loggins, Wynonna Judd, Quincy Jones, Patty Labelle, Amy Grant, Kenny G, James Tayler, Jennifer Nettles, Sheryl Crow, John Mellencamp, Garth Brooks, Beyonce, and more.
